Amazing views and breakfast!

We had a lovely stay in a classic double room. The breakfast was next level, best we've had! The views of the lake were unreal. The staff were nice but it took ages to get service between courses. They seemed more focused on other guests, which was kinda annoying.

The elegant interior design features plush carpets and soft hues that's easy on the eyes. The stunning views of Lake Windermere from the dining area added to the overall delightful experience during our stay.

Shuttle service to car park could be more frequent.

Room quality seemed inconsistent. our suite had a rather inadequate dressing area with the wardrobe in the living room and no full-length mirror or dedicated space for drying hair. the bed arrangement was disappointing, as it consisted of two singles trying to masquerade as one large bed, creating a noticeable seam in the middle—definitely not what you'd expect for the price. The restaurant only offers a taster menu for dinner, which limits options considerably, while the lack of a proper lunch menu felt too restrictive. we experienced some delays in service during meal times, which took away from the overall experience.
